Danish CTO promoted to group level in Japanese parent company

Nodes’ Danish CTO, Casper Rasmussen, is promoted to Group CTO in the japanese company Monstar Lab who bought the digital consultancy back in 2017. Casper Rasmussen will be responsible for consolidating and streamlining the development teams and their processes across all offices, which counts more than 800 engineers on a global scale.
Casper Rasmussen, who became partner in Nodes in 2014, is set to lead a global tech department with more than 800 people divided between 26 offices around the world for the parent company Monstar Lab. His main focus is to develop, streamline and strengthen the company’s global development teams by implementing best-practices and upgrading employees.

Synergies to utilise across offices
Through the past couple of years, Nodes’ tech departments have worked after a unique scaling-model making it possible to adjust resources for clients and projects on a need specific basis. This model, alongside other elements, will be elevated to a global level to ensure that synergies across the entire Monstar Lab Group are contributing to the company’s continuous growth and development.

About Casper Rasmussen:
Casper Rasmussen is Global Chief Technology Officer at Monstar Lab Group. His focus is to develop, streamline and strengthen the company’s global tech strategy through best-practice sharing and further training of employees. Before joining the Monstar Lab Group management in 2019, he served as CTO and Partner at Nodes, a company he joined in 2011 as an Android Developer.
During his time at Nodes, he has initiated several projects while building a tech department of excellence. This includes speaking publicly at events, creating a tech blog and developing NStack, which is a BaaS with multiple features.
Besides his role as CTO, Casper Rasmussen is a trusted advisor for a number of startups and board member for Vapor, a framework build on server-side swift.
Casper holds a Master of Science in Engineering & Digital Media from the Technical University of Denmark.
