Nodes hires new General Manager from competitor

Europe’s leading app development agency hires Nursel Yildirim as new General Manager in Denmark. The primary task for the new General Manager is to ensure continued growth for the App Agency, and enable the company to win the largest digital projects in Denmark. The Founders Andreas Green Rasmussen and Daniel Højris Bæk are taking on new roles focusing on the continued expansion of the company in Europe.

The employment of Nursel Yildirim is a part of the strategy of consolidating and expanding the position as the leading app agencies in Europe. A goal that is to be secured through recruiting experienced profiles, with solid management experience and hands-on insight in the development of apps in the largest companies in Europe. At the same time, the company wishes to expand its services to include strategic consultancy within the digital field.

The new employed General Manager has more than ten years of experience in digital product development. Latest from a position in the Management Team at Trifork.

Nursel Yildrim said: “One of the things I will contribute with at Nodes is my experience from many of the largest Scandinavian app projects like TDC and DSB. At the same it is time important for me to emphasize, that I will maintain the passion and energy that Nodes is known for. Everywhere in the company I meet young talented people that are passionate about technology, and this culture must continue to permeate the company. I have followed Nodes the last couple of years, and the company is in many ways a darling within the industry, which most people would like to work for, and I appreciate that I get the chance now.”

First year under the Japanese wings

The new management in Denmark is a part of the plan, to make Nodes the leading app development agency in Europe. A plan that was accelerated when the app development company got new funding back in August last year, from the Japanese conglomerate Monstar Lab. With more than 1000 employees now working for the company. Since then Nodes have opened new offices in Amsterdam, Manchester, Prague and Berlin.

Andreas Green Rasmussen looks back at the last year: “We have been busy. Not only have we established ourselves in new markets with new teams and colleagues, we have also experienced a boom in requests for app projects in all offices. I am very proud of the team, and the fact that we have won several large enterprise projects.”

Nursel Yildirim started as Manager for Nodes Denmark on the 1st of August 2018.

Nodes is established in 2008 by Andreas Green Rasmussen and Daniel Højris Bæk.
